Is the estimating link you posted here helpful for the liceense test?
I’m not sure exactly what you mean by this. The link I posted is an article on estimating in the much broader sense. During you state license test you will be asked to do a “take off” in which you are tested on your ability to thoroughly measure a set of plans using a ruler. For example the test may ask for footage or a material take off concerning different trades. The they will also give you a plan with a scale such as 1/4 = 1 foot.
